| Membership of U3ATweeddale is open to
all older people no longer in full-time
employment. U3A defines the “third age” as coming after the “first age” of personal education and training; and the “second age” of work and responsibility. It is the time when we can consider doing all the things we would have liked to do – but never had the time. U3ATweeddale meets all the year around. Open meetings are held at 14.00 hours in the St Joseph's Neighbourhood Centre, Rosetta Road, Peebles on the second Tuesday of every month. The society has a full range of equipment for these open meetings including public address speakers, digital projector, and access to a loop system for the hard of hearing. To join specialist groups contact the group organiser. Information about specialist groups is available on the membership part of this web site. Once you join you will be given the user name and password to gain access to this page.
